Terms of Service

Lingovo is operated by Khaled Ait Ahmed, an individual operator based in Morocco.

These Terms apply to the Lingovo website, applications, AI lessons, Role-Play, Free Talk, voice features, Premium subscriptions, and related services.

The Privacy Policy also applies to the processing of personal information and should be read together with these Terms.

Lingovo is not intended for children under 13 years of age.

Users between 13 and 17 years of age may use Lingovo only with the permission and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.

A user purchasing Premium must have legal authority to enter the transaction, or have authorization from a parent or legal guardian.

By creating an account, you represent that the information you provide is accurate and that you meet the eligibility requirements.

Users must provide accurate information when creating or maintaining a Lingovo account.

Users are responsible for safeguarding their login credentials and for any activity that occurs under their account.

Accounts are personal and should not be sold, transferred, or shared in a way that compromises account security.

Users must notify support@lingovo.net promptly about suspected unauthorized access to their account.

Lingovo may require account or identity verification when reasonably needed for security, billing, support, or rights requests.

Lingovo is an English-learning and speaking-practice service. AI generates lessons, conversations, corrections, feedback, suggestions, transcripts, and speech.

AI responses may be incomplete, inaccurate, inappropriate, or repetitive. AI output is not guaranteed to be unique or error-free.

Lingovo does not guarantee a particular language level, exam result, job result, or learning outcome.

Lingovo is not a substitute for legal, medical, financial, psychological, or other regulated professional advice.

Users are responsible for evaluating AI output before relying on it.

Users may submit messages, answers, conversation content, microphone audio, profile information, and feedback.

Users retain ownership of content they lawfully own. Lingovo does not claim ownership of user messages or original voice input.

By submitting content, you grant Lingovo a limited permission to process, transmit, store, reproduce, and display that content only as reasonably necessary to provide, secure, maintain, support, and improve the service as described in the Privacy Policy.

Users must have the necessary rights and permissions for content they submit. Users must not submit another person's private audio, personal information, or protected content without authorization.

Users must not:

• Use Lingovo for unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, threatening, or harmful activity
• Harass others or submit content that unlawfully violates another person's rights
• Upload malware or harmful code
• Attempt unauthorized access to accounts, servers, APIs, databases, prompts, credentials, or security systems
• Interfere with or overload the service
• Bypass Premium gates, quotas, rate limits, payment controls, or security measures
• Automate scraping, extraction, or mass requests without written permission
• Copy, resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the service without permission
• Reverse engineer the service except where applicable law expressly permits it
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent account ownership

Creating a Lingovo account and signing in are free. Using Lingovo's AI conversation and speaking-practice features, including Free Talk, Choose Topic, Coach Mode, and Role-Play, requires an active Premium subscription.

Premium can be purchased through Google Play in the Lingovo Android app, or through PayPal on the Lingovo website. Both purchase channels unlock Premium on the same Lingovo account. If Premium is already active on your Lingovo account, a second subscription is not required.

Premium provides the features shown in the app, in Google Play, or on the Lingovo website at the time of purchase and remains subject to reasonable technical, security, rate-limit, and abuse-prevention controls.

Features and limits may evolve. Lingovo does not promise that every existing feature will remain permanently available.

Lingovo does not currently offer a free trial.

Lingovo Premium subscriptions on Android are purchased through Google Play. Lingovo may offer weekly, monthly, and yearly subscription plans as shown in Google Play at the time of purchase.

The applicable price, currency, billing interval, taxes where applicable, and plan details are shown by Google Play before you confirm the purchase.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the selected interval until cancelled. Google Play processes the transaction and requests the recurring payment.

Google's applicable Google Play terms, payment rules, and currency-conversion rules also apply to the purchase.

Lingovo does not directly charge your payment method and does not receive or store your full payment-card or bank-account credentials.

Plan availability is not permanent. Any future price change will apply in accordance with applicable law and the notice or approval requirements that apply to the subscription and to Google Play.

Lingovo Premium subscriptions purchased on the Lingovo website are processed through PayPal. Lingovo may offer weekly, monthly, and yearly subscription plans as shown on the website at the time of purchase.

The applicable price, currency, billing interval, taxes where applicable, and plan details are shown before you confirm the purchase and approve the recurring payment in PayPal.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the selected interval until cancelled. PayPal processes the transaction and requests the recurring payment.

PayPal's applicable terms, payment rules, and currency-conversion rules also apply to the purchase.

Lingovo does not directly charge your payment method and does not receive or store your full payment-card or bank-account credentials.

Cancel through the provider you used to purchase Premium.

Subscriptions purchased through the Lingovo Android app are managed through Google Play: open Google Play, go to Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions, select Lingovo, and choose Cancel subscription.

Subscriptions purchased on the Lingovo website are managed through PayPal: sign in to your PayPal account and cancel or manage the recurring Lingovo payment there.

Uninstalling Lingovo does not cancel the subscription.

Cancelling the subscription does not delete your Lingovo account or its learning data.

After a valid cancellation, future renewals stop. You normally keep Premium access until the end of the billing period you have already paid for, subject to the provider's status for the subscription and applicable rules.

Google Play controls the processing time and status of a cancellation submitted through Google Play, and PayPal controls the processing time and status of a cancellation submitted through PayPal; Lingovo does not control either provider's cancellation processing.

Premium access depends on a valid subscription that Lingovo's server verifies with the provider that processed the purchase. The Lingovo app does not independently determine paid entitlement.

To restore Premium access, sign in with the correct Lingovo account. If you purchased in the Android app, also make sure you are using the same Google Account that purchased the subscription; Lingovo may need to re-check the purchase status with Google Play. If you purchased on the Lingovo website, Premium access follows the PayPal subscription linked to that Lingovo account.

If Premium access is not restored, or you have a billing or access issue, contact support@lingovo.net.

Purchases made through Google Play are subject to applicable law and to Google Play's refund and payment policies. Lingovo does not promise an unconditional refund period or a guaranteed refund window unless applicable law or the Google Play offer provides one.

Purchases made on the Lingovo website are subject to applicable law and to PayPal's payment and dispute policies and processes. Lingovo does not promise an unconditional refund period or a guaranteed refund window unless applicable law provides one.

Where available, you may request a refund through Google Play for a Google Play purchase. Google Play may make decisions regarding transactions it processes, and PayPal may make decisions regarding transactions it processes.

You may contact support@lingovo.net for assistance with a billing or access issue.

Cancellation or account deletion does not automatically refund charges that were already completed.

Nothing in these Terms limits refund, withdrawal, chargeback, or mandatory consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

You can initiate deletion of your Lingovo account in the app from Settings by selecting Delete Account.

Account deletion and subscription cancellation are separate. An active Google Play or PayPal subscription is not a reason for Lingovo to block or delay deletion of your Lingovo account.

Deleting your Lingovo account does not cancel your Google Play subscription, does not cancel your PayPal subscription, does not delete your Google or PayPal account, and does not delete the billing or payment records that Google or PayPal keeps.

An active subscription may continue to renew after your Lingovo account is deleted unless you cancel it separately with the provider you purchased it from.

If you want to stop future renewals, cancel the subscription separately through the provider you used to purchase Premium — Google Play for an Android purchase, or PayPal for a website purchase. Cancelling with either provider does not by itself delete your Lingovo account.

Account deletion does not automatically create a refund.

Deleted Lingovo account data is deleted or de-identified from active systems, subject to the limited legal, security, fraud-prevention, financial-record, and backup retention described in the Privacy Policy.

Lingovo's software, branding, interface, designs, curriculum organization, graphics, and original materials are owned by or licensed to the operator.

Users receive a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the service for lawful personal learning.

Users may not reproduce, distribute, sell, sublicense, remove notices, or create unauthorized commercial derivatives of Lingovo content.

Third-party names, software, services, and content remain owned by their respective owners.

AI output may not be unique and similar output may be generated for others.

Lingovo relies on third-party services to operate, including:

• OpenAI — AI conversations, transcription, and speech processing
• Supabase — authentication, database, and application data
• Google and Google Play — Android app distribution, subscription purchases, billing, and purchase verification
• PayPal — website subscription checkout, billing, and subscription lifecycle processing
• Sentry — application error and crash monitoring
• Hosting and infrastructure providers reasonably required to operate Lingovo

Use of these services may also be governed by their own terms and privacy policies. Third-party availability and decisions are outside Lingovo's direct control.

Lingovo is not authorized to access, modify, or delete your Google account, your Google Play subscription, your PayPal account, or your PayPal subscription on your behalf.

Nothing in this section removes responsibilities that applicable consumer law places on Lingovo.

Lingovo may update, modify, add, remove, or discontinue features. Maintenance, outages, provider failures, security incidents, or technical limits may temporarily interrupt access.

Reasonable notice may be provided for material changes affecting paid services where appropriate or legally required.

Lingovo does not guarantee continuous, uninterrupted, or error-free operation. This does not limit mandatory consumer remedies for paid services.

Lingovo may restrict or suspend paid features when an entitlement is inactive, when Google Play or PayPal reports that the subscription has expired, been cancelled, is unpaid, or has been refunded or reversed, or when fraud or entitlement abuse is detected. Lingovo may also restrict, suspend, or terminate access when reasonably necessary because of a material Terms violation, abusive automation, unauthorized access, a security risk, or a legal obligation.

Lingovo may provide notice or an opportunity to correct the issue where reasonable, but immediate action may be necessary for security or legal reasons.

Users may stop using Lingovo or request account deletion at any time.

Suspension or termination does not erase payment obligations already lawfully incurred.

Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Lingovo is provided on an 'as available' basis.

Lingovo makes no guarantee that AI content is accurate or suitable for every purpose, that operation will be uninterrupted, or that a particular educational result will be achieved.

Users remain responsible for decisions and actions based on service content.

Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties, guarantees, or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Khaled Ait Ahmed and Lingovo will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from use of the service where such losses were not reasonably foreseeable.

Lingovo is not responsible for losses caused solely by the user's unlawful use, credential sharing, ignored security warnings, or unauthorized changes to the user's device, Google account, or PayPal account.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded, limits mandatory consumer rights or remedies, or applies beyond what is permitted by applicable law.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Morocco. This choice does not deprive consumers of mandatory protections available under applicable law.

Users should first contact support@lingovo.net to seek an informal resolution.

Unresolved disputes may be brought before competent Moroccan courts, except where mandatory law gives the consumer the right to use another competent court or process.

Purchases processed by Google Play may also be subject to Google's applicable transaction and refund processes, and purchases processed by PayPal may also be subject to PayPal's applicable transaction and dispute processes. This does not replace statutory courts or mandatory consumer rights.

Lingovo may update these Terms for legal, operational, security, billing, or service changes. The Last Updated date will be revised when changes are made.

Material changes may be communicated in the app, website, or by another reasonable method. Where legally required, notice or additional acceptance will be requested.

Continued use of Lingovo after the effective date constitutes acceptance only to the extent permitted by applicable law. Users who disagree may stop using Lingovo and cancel their subscription.
